Control Bar Features

Schema Options (Supported Types)
Select one of the following from the dropdown menu to configure:
1. Article (News & Blog)
Why use it: Helps Google understand your articles, news stories, and blog posts. Eligible for "Top stories" carousels and rich result features like headlines and images.
How to use: Select "Article" and choose the subtype (Article, NewsArticle, BlogPosting). Fill in the Headline, Description, and Image URL. Don't forget the Publisher details for full validation.
2. COVID-19 - Special Announcement
Why use it: Critical for schools, hospitals, and governments to publish urgent updates regarding COVID-19 (e.g., closures, testing centers).
How to use: Enter your announcement text, the date posted, and optionally an expiration date. Select the category (Information, Announcement, Warning) to clarify the nature of the update.
3. Event
Why use it: Displays your events in Google's "Event Experience" with dates, locations, and booking details directly in search results.
How to use: Provide the Event Name, Start/End Dates, and Location. You can also specify the Performer (Person or Group) and Ticket status.
4. FAQ Page
Why use it: One of the most powerful schemas. Displays your Questions and Answers directly in Google Search, taking up significant vertical space and increasing CTR.
How to use: Simply add Question and Answer pairs. You can add as many as you need.
5. How-to
Why use it: Perfect for tutorials and DIY guides. Google may display your steps (with images) as a rich result on mobile devices.
How to use: Enter the main Title and Description. Then, add individual Steps with instructions and optional image URLs.
6. Job Posting
Why use it: Lists your job openings in the "Google for Jobs" immersive experience. Essential for recruitment.
How to use: Fill in the Job Title, Description, Company Name, and Salary details. Be precise with the Location and Employment Type.
7. Local Business
Why use it: Critical for local SEO. Connects your website to your Google Business Profile, helping with "Near Me" searches and Maps integration.
How to use: Enter your Business Name, Address, Phone, and Price Range. Accurate formatting of the address is key.
8. Organization

How to use: Provide your Organization Name, Logo URL, and Social Profile URLs (SameAs). This is often placed on the homepage.

How to use: Enter Name, Job Title, and the Company they work for. Link to their social profiles or personal website.
10. Product
Why use it: Essential for E-commerce. Displays Price, Availability (In Stock), and Star Ratings directly in search results.
How to use: Enter Product Name, Image, Price, and Currency. If you have reviews, add the Rating Value and Review Count.
11. Recipe
Why use it: A must-have for food blogs. enabling rich cards with a photo, rating, and cook time in Google Images and Search.
How to use: Be detailed! Add Cook Time, Prep Time, Ingredients (one per line), and step-by-step Instructions.
12. Video
Why use it: Helps your videos appear in Google Video Search with a thumbnail, duration, and upload date. Key for video SEO.
How to use: Provide the Video Name, Description, Thumbnail URL, and Upload Date. Accurate duration (ISO 8601 format like PT1M30S) is important.
